Bowen is a 12 year old Border Collie who, like most Border Collie's live to be active. He had recently started to show his age a little more by getting up slower and slightly stiff whenever he would lay somewhere for even a short period of time. Along with that, he would occasionally have a day when it was obvious that he was in a state of increased pain.
