GOLD BEAD IMPLANTS ARE NOT JUST FOR SMALL PETS, BUT FOR LARGE ANIMALS AS WELL.
What are GOLD BEAD IMPLANTS?
Is your pet in pain? Have you been told " We've done all we can do" and now, you don't know where else to turn? We have your answer. GOLD BEAD IMPLANTS, A PERMANENT FORM OF ACUPUNCTURE.
The following information is from Animal Wellness magazine.
"Dogs of all ages can suffer from musculoskeletal problems. The pain, stiffness and lack of mobility these problems cause can severely affect a dog's quality of life. I'd like to share three unique fixes for some common joint problems afflicting dogs, including arthritis, hip dysplasia and knee injuries. Gold bead implants, prolotherapy and CMO often provide permanent help for these conditions, working quickly to heal your dog and saving you both time and money.
GOLD BEAD IMPLANTS FOR DYSPLASIA AND ARTHRITIS OF THE HIPS
Let's begin with the hips. Hip-dysplasia is a genetic trait resulting in abnormal formation of the hip socket. It can cause lameness and painful arthritis. Older dogs without hip dysplasia can also get arthritis in their hips. Conventional treatment involves placing the dog on NSAIDS for long periods of time.
Yet, there's a jewel of a therapy that usually fixes the problem for good and can even prevent future degeration. Gold bead implants provide reliable, dependable relief that often lasts the rest of the dog's life.
Gold bead implants can be likened to a permanent form of acupuncture. Tiny gold beads and/or small pieces of gold wire are permanently placed in certain acupuncture points.
Gold bead implants for use in people were pioneered by Dr. Grady Young in the early 1970's. IN 1975, Dr. Terry Durkes began doing clinical research on gold bead implants in pets, and found that they dependably provide significant improvement in all the symptoms of hip dysplasia and hip arthritis while stopping or greatly slowing progression of the condition. He saw a 98% success rate using gold bead implants for dogs under 7 years of age with hip dysplasia, and a 75% success rate with dogs between seven and 12 years old. That's pretty impressive. Dr. Durkes feels that gold beads stop excess movement within the hip joint, which in turn stops the pain. What follows is a gradual reabsorption of the arthritis and excess boney formations in the treated joints. He found that after about 6 months, he could actually see improvement on films of the affected joints. The tiny gold beads also exert a positive charge on the surrounding tissues, which in turn helps relieve discomfort and prevents future arthritic deposits.
Today many veterinary acupuncturists are trained in this technique. The tiny gold beads or wires are inserted through a needle while the patient is under light anesthesia or sedation. The implants stay in place permanently and provide constant healing. The procedure is not expensive and when compared to the expense and the dangers of years of anti-inflammatory drugs."
The sterilized gold beads are 24 carat jewelers gold. They are about the size of a pinhead or tip of a fine ball point pen. They are implanted 3 at a time into the acupuncture points, and will then stimulate each point on a permanent basis. Gold Beads will relieve a lot of the inflammation and improve the blood supply. They will also improve the healing of the vertebrae. and your pet will live a much happier, healthier life. They provide long lasting relief from chronic hip dyplasia, chronic pain, and degenerative arthritis, The number of Gold Beads are determined during the surgery and not before.
The following stories are in order of our most recent to our former patients who have received the gold bead implants.
THE FOLLOWING VIDEO IS OF THE ACTUAL GOLD BEAD IMPLANT SURGICAL PROCEDURE ON TOBY
THIS IS TOBY'S STORY
The following statement is from Thelmas owner:
The changes made are remarkable, these are actual comments from Thelma's owner.
- Her hind legs are far apart now.
- She is hopping onto the sofa again and rolling on her back. She has not hopped up onto her stool that gets her onto the guest bed for sunbathing yet though. This stool is a little bit higher than the one going to the sofa.
- She is having 1 and sometimes 2 bowel movements a day instead of 3 or 4 a day.
- In the evenings, she goes outside before eating as usual and now makes it clear through until bedtime before she has to go out again. Before, she would bark sharply a few hours after eating her supper and urinate immediately upon going outside. Overall, he sense of urgency to urinate when she goes out is gone.
- Her eyes glisten more.
- When she gets a drink, she doesn't drink nearly as long and as "furiously" each time as she did before.
- She snores now when she falls asleep on the sofa in the evenings instead of being so wakeful.
This is Thelma's story.
BELOW IS A PHOTO OF MAX AT HIS MOST RECENT CHECK UP. YOU CAN SEE WHERE THE GOLD BEADS WERE IMPLANTED.
Max was brought in to the clinic in late November, due to being in a lot of pain, and unable to walk. After several acupuncture laser treatments and herbal supplements, Max showed signs of improvement, but not enough for a full happy healthy life. Doctor Anders, talked to his owner about the Gold Bead Implants, and on January 9, 2014, the surgery was performed. At Max's checkup he was noted to have made remarkable improvement, including "getting around very well with no problems."
When "DOC" first entered the clinic his main complaint was his legs. He could barely walk and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Anders implanted the GOLD BEADS, and as Doc comes in for periodic check ups he is doing very well as the following video shows.
